Help!

We've had a leak, and had a plumber to fix it.
Have phoned the insurance company who had asked me to get 2 written quotes to fix the damage...

Im not sure what type of tradesmen I would need?!
The floor in the bathroom could be damaged, but the ceiling in the kitchen is def damaged (it's a wooden panelled fake ceiling)!

Would it be a builder/decorater, or someone else!?

If it`s being paid for by Insurance, just approach a general building firm. They will sub-contract any specialist work. Ask about payment terms too - some firms charge up front and I`ve had one ask for money on top for insurance work (they said it was because they had to wait to get paid )

When I had a water leak the insurance company sent their own assessor out and we did a deal, they sent someone to fix the ceiling, and they wanted to replace the flooring which was laminate like for like and I wanted to tile it, we agreed a sum and I did it myself and made a profit. I would guess a general builder would quote for the lot in your case.
