As I pottered around the garden with my camera and a tape measure at 8 in the morning, hubby is now convinced I am nuts

They are between 16 and 18 inches high and regularly trampled by a JRT!!

I didn't grow my from seed, I got them for £2 from the hospital section form B&Q, they looked half dead so I cut them right down. I did chuck half a packet in a pot with my "don't know what to do with" plants and 2 of them have come through next to a begonia & a petunia
Are you sure Pepsi isn't weeing on them to make them grow quick That would be cheating

She doesn't wee on them but she does lie cuddled up to them to keep them warm It has always been her favourite spot to sunbathe
We planted 70 Petunias today and we have another 70 to go, can't think why I grew so many
The runner beans were planted to but there is so much still to do.

The darn slugs are munching mine AND the pea plants. If it wasnt for the animals id put slug pellets down. At first the sonic repeller repelled them but my sweet pea & pea plants are too tasty obviously . .

I will have to measure my sweet peas tomorrow (give them another day to grow ). Only in a pot with sticks I bought back from the woods so not very glamorous, but my theory is when they are so bushy and full of flowers and will obviously win the competition you won't be able to see the sticks.
