German Shepherd - had them all through my life and can't imagine being without such a super loyal companion.

Whippet - graceful and catlike, loyal, quiet and snuggly

Miniature Pinscher - tiny dog with a HUGE character

Great Dane - had them in my life before, gentle giants

Northern Inuits - I find them absolutely stunning

Hmm, very, very hard!

1. Westies - my breed love. Big dogs in little bodies. Intelligent, quick to learn, fiesty and cheeky!

2. Real mongrels! You know, the Heinz 57s that have a bit of everything in them! They are unique and special. Ones that are not to small, but not too big either!

3. Basenjis - I love them! I love everything about them!

4. Shiba Inus - Stunning dogs, can't resist the foxy look!

5. No idea what my 5th favourite breed is! I'm beginning to fall for black Cocker Spaniels (show type) for some bizarre reason! Joint 5th along with Border Terriers! Fantastic wee dogs!

Leo`s ; the gentlest of giants without the drool

Gsd ; the loyalty and love, the willingness to please.

Labs; the character, the ability to pull expressions for every occassion.

Cotons: the ability to make you smile, the puppy playfulness theyhave for life.

leo/gsd/ lab cross, to have the best of all of them.......cotons would be too small!

Gordon Setters... hopefully may add to my setter gang with one of these next year
Flat Coat retriever.. beautiful dogs and I love Cosmo
Clumber Spaniel... cos I love Jago!!
Basset Hound... have wanted one for so long now, I have her name sorted too
English Springer Spaniel.. yes I know thats 6, but it would be sooooo much fun with my setter gang!! Please can I have Woody, Pidge
I'm sooo glad you choose 6, cos I can only narrow it down to 6 too!

Ok.....

English Springer Spaniel Obvious really! I love these dogs and hope to never be without one.

Labrador Retriever Same applies here as above really, hope to have one again at some point once the grief passes.

Siberian Husky A dog I've always wanted since I was a teenager, but quickly realised I wasn't suitable for their needs. One day!

German Wirehaired Pointer I would love a black and white one of this breed, they're absolutely stunning! And a Gundog so a bonus!

Irish Red and White Setter Another Gundog I'd love to try out. It'd be like owning a giant red and white Springer me thinks!

And my sly sixth choice.....

Anatolian Shepherd Dog I absolutely LOVE huge dogs and have hankered after an Irish Wolfhound for a long time, but the ASD has captured my imagination these last few weeks and I have absolutely no idea why??? I'd seriously love to own one of these and if I had the time, money and space would have one tomorrow!

My top 5 would be:

Basset Hound - I could never imagine life without at least one!

Otterhound - Would absolutely love one, but haven't got the space at the moment, unfortunately!

Bloodhound - Fell in love with them at Crufts.

Poodle - Completely out of character for me as I love hounds, but I have met a few over the years and they have so much character. Charming little dogs.

Golden Retriever - I have one, not my choice, my OH, and it took me a long time to love her but she has completely stolen my heart and is sooo naughty, clever and a complete idiot at times. Good fun dog and my Basset loves her - so she must be great!

Boston Terrier - for when I can no longer handle the larger dogs.

Mine has to be.
1.BMD they are stubborn and willful (Ollie is anyway) but just lovely to have around.
2.Newfie. Just love them.
3.Great Dane I adore these dogs.
4. I would love to own another mongrel like my Max, Australian shepherd with some rottie and a few others we never got to the bottom of. I doubt I will ever find a dog as loyal as him again.
5.Irish woldhound. Again stunning dogs, can you see I love big dogs, there are lots more but I don't expect I have enough lifetime left to own all the breeds I would like too own.

Loving the fact that the setter peeps all want a Flat Coat because my list would be..

1) Flat Coated Retriever
2) Any Setter
3) Border Terrier
4) Border Collie (but probably won't have one again as there could never be another Mo)
5) Long haired GSD

I also love all the giant breed dogs, but don't think I'll ever have one.

Did I mention Flat Coated Retrievers though.
