How long does it take to fit a bath????

Ok the girl who does my nails, her fella who is a plumber has come round to fit our bath.... it was a case of a straight swap, old bath for new....

He has been here since 5.40pm its now 9pm

and he hsa fitted the old plug set instead of our lovely new one....

ah well, at least we will be able to have a bath!!

It would off taken him about half and hour to fit the new taps and plug set into the new bath.

About half an hour to undo the old taps and waste pipe.

An hour to remove the bull nose tiles and first row of tiles.

Half an hour to install the new bath and then test fill.

So the whole job should of only taken at most 2½ hours to do, not 3½ hours.

Sounds like you gave him to many cups of coffee and biscuits.

he didnt need to remove any tiles! and he got no biscuits and 2 cups of coffee, i did offer him a ham sarnie but he declined saying he would have something to eat when he got home....

she did climb on him for a few cuddles, but she was mainly curled up by my feet as she didnt like all the banging noise that was going on...

he left at 9.25.... thought i was gonna have to make up the spare room for him!
