Your poor grass! I had the same problem last winter so I put up a fence so the dogs have a yard and they have no need to churn up the grass. It will recover once it gets the chance to dry out. If you sprinkle some grass seed down once the grass starts growing that will help.

Cor - you`ve got more grass than I have! I paved half the garden last year, and intend to do the rest if it ever stops raining. Only I did start digging it out (to make a start) so now I`ve got a pond as well.

Exactly! Grass is really over-rated. If it was up to me me I would get rid of it but my OH likes mowing it!

Problem is me and my partner are like frank and betty spencer when it comes to anything like this

I do have plans to move the bunnies into the shed when the weather gets a bit better and fencing them off an area for a run for them. I can't slab it all yet as the kids do still like to have a bit of grass to play on.

The grass started to disappear in the snow and I think Dizzy's relentless ball chasing has finished it off. Funny though really as she hates mud and spends all her time trying to have the least amount of paws on the floor possible

Mine used to look like this, until I had the lot slabbed.

The gingers don't mind it one bit

Why are you taking pics of my garden??? . I did slab half mine and put a fence and gate accross to the lawn but the dogs won't go to the loo on the slabs so my remaining grass is now a mud bath too just like that.
I am sick and tired of my kitchen ending up with as much mud on the floor as my garden everytime they pad in and out.as well.
