Another vet trip :(

Went home to see little Pup-a-too this lunch time and noticed he had a creamy coloured discharge from his boy bits wiped it off and had a look and there was more. He's only 17 weeks old so I don't think it's *cough* you know and it was a creamy colour. I think there might be slight swelling of his sheath too.

So he's booked in for a vets visit at 4.30pm.

Just when we'd cleared up his conjunctivitus too!

Just a quick question, I know it depends on how much they drink, but how often do your little ones wee? He's good in his crate for about 3 hours at a time but of an evening he needs to wee half a dozen times. He's dry through the night though from about 10.30pm to 6am.

Samson had the creamy discharge and everyone told me it's normal, it is to keep the bits clean, but with the extra weeing maybe worth a vet trip, i know Samson has days where he pee's alot but not on other days

I'd rather get it checked out than not because he's not had it before, hope it turns out to be something of nothing though!

Thank you! Have read your thread and feel a bit reassured so hope I am worrying about nothing.

He does spend a lot of time licking his bits too...

Well, we popped to the vets last night. Vet explained that it was perfectly normal, that he’s getting to that age… then she turned him over, had a look and winced! She thinks he’s got a bit of an infection in there which is why he’s been licking it a lot, OH has also seen him lying spayed out with his bits on the floor which he’s never done before. So we have five days of anti-biotics to clear it up. I’ve been melting a tiny bit of cheese in the microwave and wrapping the pills up in them and he’s wolfing them down, so at least I know now I can drug him with ease when needed (I still have memories of having to worm out cat when I was a teenager, it was interesting!)
