Moths

We seem to have an infestation of moths Little ones, hardly as big as my little finger nail.
I have bare patches on the carpet in various places, around the skirting, under furniture etc.
I have tried all sorts of insect repellent and flying insect killers, to no avail.
Today in 25 degree heat we have steam cleaned the whole bungalow, in the hope that this will get rid of them.
Has anyone any other ideas?

Unleash a herd of geckos around your house!

Don't know if you've tried this or where to put it if the moths are everywhere, but might be worth a look;

Good luck... moths (and butterflies) terrify me

Hahaha, I love them....until they eat my carpets! Couldn't cope with Geckos though!
I will read that page later, thanks.

In the news the other day they were saying that the wasp population has been desimated by the wet cold winter but the hot summer has seen a butterfly explosion (which I like the sound of!)....maybe it's the same for moths! Doesn't help you get rid of them though!

We have had a lot in our bathroom and have taken up moth spotting and identification with the girls.
