Breakfast then off out to do a shop for Michael and Margaret then drop it off nice day for a drive, few little bits for us.

Lovely day here too. Teazle walked, washing (yet again)on the line and more turf cleaned and earth distributed round the garden. Perhaps I should go and do some weeding and cut back some of the daffodil leaves.

Good morning all and what a beautiful morning it is.

We had a pair of ducks on the garden this morning - that's a first because they usually sit on the bungalow roof across the road.

Nice to see, but, of course, we had to check to make sure they'd gone before Rosie went out there. She's good with birds because we usually walk in and amongst them around the lake in town, but on her own garden we couldn't take chances.

She never bothers with the visiting blackbirds that often share the garden with her, but my heart's always in my mouth when they come looking for worms while she's out

Chris I am amazed now at how much nature is out and about right now. Or maybe we are watching for it more.
