Thank you brenda I know it will get better eventually having done it twice before but Max and Ollie were with us 4.5 years and having Dillon around for 10 coming into his 11 the year it seems a lot lot harder this time around.
I guess 20 years this year for Max and 11 years for Ollie time has healed.

It's the biggest pitfall of having dogs in our lives, Lynn, they are with us so short a time.

The way I look at it is that both their lives and our lives were better for the time they are with us and eventually that helps, but when it's so raw, everything reminds you of what you have lost.

Time may not fully heal, but it does make things a lot more bearable. Thinking of you both and hoping that things get easier for you

Lynn, I feel for you. Today is the lst anniversary of Amber going over the bridge. I still miss her terribly so I know how raw it must feel for you and you nursed him through so many problems towards the end too.
