One day left of the 2021 year and all is as well as it can be, for you all I hope.

Flying visit on here; as off for a walk with Gert round the block at the moment before the rain hits looks like it should be soon.

Have a good day all.

Good morning Kazz, Brenda and all who follow

Hope the rain held off whilst out with Gert.

Enjoy your day Brenda

Hope you are not feeling too bad this morning after your fall Lynn

Also hope you are feeling better Kelly

Damp here but managed to get Teazle out without getting wet. Also been into town to return a pair of shoes that were too wide for Maria and to post some curtains for Ben that he has to return. Made a cheese cake for Saturday and the bottom half of a trifle for Sunday. Now it is coffee time

Hope all are well. Take care

Good afternoon all.

Hope everyone who is ailing is feeling a bit better today.

Had the eye injection yesterday. Different woman sticking it in and didn't I know it. Threw me off for the rest of the day yesterday it was so sore. Fine this morning though. One more to go then see the specialist. To be honest, I think I might drop them off anyway after the next one. They blur my eye for three weeks then a week later another injection then start again. If the injections are going to mess up my sight for three weeks out of four, I don't see the point.

Sunshine and blue skies for most of our walk then it started clouding over as we were coming home with a bit of drizzle so we've enjoyed it this morning

My sister is now back to normal, but her son has now come down with the virus. Not only my nephew though, but half his wife's family too as they went out with them for a night out on Christmas Eve

Afternoon, Kazz, brenda, Sue, Chris and all to follow.
Thank you I am fine after my trip down the step on the bus, no bruise which is surprising I usually bruise very easily and was expecting a huge one on my knee.
Gorden and myself decided to go for a stroll this morning before driving over to Kings Lynn later.
Met a lady who we haven't seen for a while she has a rescue Beagle called Boo. Turns out in April she was the victim of an attempted dog knapping incident. Three men in a van early hours of the morning broke into her house they tried to break into her conservatory didn't have much luck can be seen on her security cameras carrying breeze blocks and they put her front windows in to gain access. She rang the police then her husband whose a truck driver and luckily hadn't left the yard so he got home before the police arrived and she managed to scare them off and keep Boo safe in a room upstairs.
Turns out they 3 men none wearing masks so reg number which they managed to get and faces on camera had attempted a dog knapping in Yorkshire the night before.
She has to leave Boo with a neighbour now if she goes to work it has upset her understandably so much she is frightened to leave her on her own. She is elderly and spayed so no good as a breeding bitch the other thought doesn't bear thinking about.
We have offered if she gets stuck for leaving her somewhere that she can come to us we would of done even if Dillon was still with us as they got n well.

Kazz hope you got a dry walk.
brenda glad the back is better.
Sue hope you enjoyed the coffee break.
Chris oh no regards your nephew and family. I see your point about the eye injections, no pun intended.

Omg Lynn, that's dreadful!! Poor lady, I keep a knife in my bedroom and a baseball bat in my living room, perfectly happy to use either, I don't care if I kill anyone in the process....enter my property invited and you will leave a lot worse off..... even think about touching my dogs and they would take them out in a body bag.
Chris, so sorry the injection was bad this time
Sue, busy again I see!!
Kazz, hope you didn't get wet on your walk
Brenda, I like that version of a Christmas carol
Popped into town and they had a load of meat reduced in Iceland, obviously they aren't open on the 1st so got a few packs of lean mince and diced steak, mums going to do dinners for her dad and Steve

I watched that version of Christmas Carol a few days ago and surprised myself by enjoying it. I don't usually like the remakes or updated versions of anything, but that one was good. Hope you enjoyed it Brenda.

Can't wait to get these decs put away but Dave wants me to leave them up until New Year's Day. Can't see the point myself. They are for Christmas and, for me, once Christmas is over it is over

Yep mine have all been put away. Couldn't believe the film was 20 years old.

I have my decorations up and will stay up until 12th night.....or might fetch them down at the weekend, dreading the 2 massive light up trees. My nice neighbour loves watching the lights when she is in bed...helps her get to sleep and she asked why they hadn't been on, I turned them on for her tonight but she said they looked dull the other night so I had to go and replace the batteries for her.
