Morning Friday 26th July (19).

Good morning everyone how are we all after one of the hottest days of the year so far.
Hoping we will not get another day that hot. Poor Dillon was struggling by the evening. It got to 32.5 celsius indoors and 40 celsius in the sun outside. In fahrenheit 90 and 104.

We need to go out to get a watering system for the garden while we are away but might wait till tomorrow as the temps are meant to be even lower than today. A manageable 21 celsius.
Worry about shutting Dillon in today as we need to cool the bungalow right down.

Do hope everyone is well and hasn't suffered to the point of illness after yesterday.

Good morning Lynn, Moyra and all who follow

Poor Dillon hope he feels a lot better today.

Had a terrific storm early hours this morning. Non stop thunder and lighting and the rain just came down in sheets. Dry when I go up but very black to the west of us. Managed to get Teazle out and then pick some peas with the thunder rolling round us then the heavens opened again. Only problem is it is still HOT I am melting.

Hope all are well and managing to keep as cool as possible.

Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning Sue we only had lightning last night and some rain. Cooler today but still 26 indoors so hotter out.
Hope it cools down soon for you.

I did get Dillon out around 6 this morning he wanted to get out and have a catch up with is wee mails. Plus have a roll on the grass and some running about 1/2 hour was enough though.

Barry be careful what you say.

Good afternoon all.

Very warm again today but no sun so Ok for taking Rosie out with us. Plenty of drinks and she was fine.

I don't know about Dillon struggling to cope Lynn. I certainly was. No matter how many fans, the house just wouldn't cool down. It was actually cooler outside at 7pm so me and Rosie had an hour in the shade in the breeze to cool off.

The storm hit out to sea here. Some rumblings but nothing much and no rain.

Afternoon Chris. Glad you managed a cooler walk today.
It didn't cool down here in or out and when we did eventually sit out around 9pm we got eaten alive by the mozzies.
Not sure why citronella candles no longer seem to work.

We had some lightning we could see in the distance and we had rain but the bungalow was still at 29 celsius when i went to bed at 1.30 this morning.
Its 26 indoors today so more bearable and pleasant to sit outside.

Just walked Amber again, far too hot for dogs and humans alike. Enjoy the rest of your day and keep cool and dry, God bless.
