okay yeah we call thougs gar pike they are mean I cought one by accdent once when I was young and I think back then it kind of scared me lol I was a wimpy little boy

That's them I went after them when I came to Texas last year, but failed miserably There were plenty of alligators though

My OH loves the Red drum, and targets them each time we've come across the pond

Born in Worcester, moved to Lee on Solent at the age of 8, (near Portsmouth), then Coventry, then Helensburgh in Scotland, then Southsea (Nr Portsmouth), Chatham (Kent), London, Biggin Hill (Kent) London again, Winchester (Hampshire), Baldock (Hertfordshire), Mersea Island (Essex), then..... I emigrated (ran out of new places in the UK I think! ) now in the Republic of Ireland where I plan to stay. Pretty quiet here as most native Irish are either in Australia or the States!!!!

It's a Texas Red fish. Don't think you get them there though. They're a really tasty, meaty fish to eat too. I've got a pic of one on the other PC. When I get on it, I'll post a pic for you
