Maybe the Brexit scare has caused people to stay put although I know Butlins does the Darts doesn't it? Good for the town though business in the winter. A friend of mine has moved up that way with her hubby last year, not sure exactly where, although I am sure I have heard them mention when looking Sloothby.

My new year started off as expected s**t ... literally!!! Lol, Kota is poorly so been up all night

Butlins does great trade over Christmas and the New Year. The car parks are full and all the staff are back in full time over the period.

Sloothby is a little bit more inland but not too far. We're in Chapel St Leonards. A lovely little village with its own village green and, of course, the promenade. It's a bit of a throw back in time. Predominantly retirement properties - mainly bungalows and very flat which is great for us
