Morning all. Been looking for a cheese board and then remembered I had a large glass plate that I could use for Christmas Day. Will be eating to much probably. Be careful of all those yummies you give your doglets. Not good for dogs to be overweight. Bad for the joints. Some breeds are more prone to putting on weight than others despite their energy. Have a good day must be going and feed the birds.

Morning Moyra, brenda and all who follow.
Windy and chilly and wet underfoot today. Dillon enjoyed it though bit of raod walking then cut through the station car park down the track onto the field. Went round the corner and he went flying up to his new friend Reece. Reece knows I keep treats in my right hand pocket and no convincing I had run out worked so he started barking. Like a good boy he stopped and sat to get his treat.

Waiting for deliveries hope they came at a reasonable time and we may be able to get out to get some of the shopping done we need to do.

griff sorry to hear about your neighbours husband. Your taking a key and looking after the puppy will make a difference to her and I am sure she will be very grateful.
Good advice brenda.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

I am getting too brainy for my own good. Had lost an email address for my cousin in New Zealand so went onto bt.com and looked up history and there was one for nz so hopefully fingers crossed it is the right one. Other wise I may have found myself getting a reply from a secret admirer. bg!! Good that Dillon is enjoying life. Griff well done you on helping. Been wondering about a rough collie. Only wondering mind. Thankyou for my card that arrived this morning. Very kind of you.

Mind or you won't get your head outta the door brenda.
Dillon certainly is enjoying the life here beds to lie on during the day choice of bed at night either the spare bed or his bed at the bottom of our bed. When guests arrive he will be banned from the spare room unless Michael invites him. Daily walks in the park and socialising with his own kind freely which he has missed being able to do for 5 years.
Plus two content and happier owners that he has also missed over the past 5 years.

Afternoon all

Vile here, wet and windy.

Haven't been on for a few days have been swamped with paperwork from work, that I needed to work through, read and sign.
How the heck I'm going to remember it all I have no idea
Also done some training in food safety, fire safety etc. Really enjoyed doing those

We had santa and his sleigh stop outside here last night, playing wonderful Christmas tunes and collecting for dementia.

O/H is miserable today, had one on him since Lizzie reminded me I was helping out at the residents christmas party tonight, good job she reminded me because I had forgotton. Luke finished at 12 and is going shopping, so O/H said he would go with him, Luke told him he wanted to go on his own he wanted to get O/H's stuff for christmas, but when he got back he would take him, O/H's answer was a mouthful of swear words, I told him that wasn't a very nice way in which to speak to someone. Honestly! and he wonders why folks have started doing less and less for him.
Luke told me that was the plan for tomorrow, trip to GP's and then he and O/H were going to town.
No pleasing some people, I've just left him to it, and got on with washing and chores and finishing my paperwork from work.

Have a good day all

Oh dear Sal.. well just you enjoy your Christmas party with the residents
This is getting ridiculous now...Steve's called, had a call off his brother in law, his uncle died yesterday, at least he is in touch with his sister again, apparently they have asked him to go down so that's where he has gone

Dogs walked...it was a bit soggy but got to try out my waterproof trousers!! Had my others for about 15 years and they started letting water in, I reproofed them but no good so got myself another pair of Peter storm ones and I really like them as they have a cargo pocket so if I wear a jacket with no pockets I can still take the dogs ball... that's as exciting as my life gets lol
