Rescue Dog - Trying to determine breed mix

I'm new, so if this needs to be moved to a different section, please do.

Roughly a month ago, I adopted a puppy from the local shelter. On paper, she's considered a German Shepherd mix. As she's grown, I'm seeing less and less of the GS that she seemed to have when I brought her home.

She has the mask and typical face markings of a GS, but she is tall, lanky, and has short hair. If anyone could provide some insight, I would greatly appreciate it. My vet says based on her incisors, she's younger than we thought (adoption papers say 8 weeks, but she's more around 10-11 week mark now rather than the 13 she supposedly would be).

Pictures of Bella are attached. Any input is appreciated!

I would guess half Rhodesian Ridgeback by the color size and the darker color hair on the top of the back

Looks a lot like a mastiff x German Shepherd mix.

For some reason seen a lot of them this year.

If you google images of the mix they will be about as close as you come to your dogs look.

I just looked and the second image looks identical to what Bella looked like a few weeks back. Thank you for the feedback!

Technically it's breed is mutt, he might even be parented by two other mutts, which would make him a purebred mutt.....................

OP asked what breeds they thought where or could be in there pup.
Just reread and still don't see where anyone stated anything about the pup in question being a purebred or giving it one of the fad designer names.
So your input to the post would be helpful how?

When someone ask what breed is my dog they are asking what purebred breeds is the puppy. Right or wrong?

I said "breed mix."

Her mother was German Shepherd. We don't know what the father was. You're right, he could have been a "mutt." I posted the thread for feedback on POSSIBLE mixes. I know my dog isn't purebred.
