'Dog must eat after people'

Is it true or just a loud of old twoddle?

I feed Jin early to give her time to digest and ...... go before bed. If she ate after us, she wouldn't be eating till 9 some nights......hmmm.

Balderdash and piffle! I feed Cain around 6pm at night, sometime we eat directly afterward, sometimes hours afterwards. I honestly don't think he makes Amy sort of connection about who is eating first.

Once roxie had her dinner before me and she tried to take over, took my house keys, locked me out. Made me sleep in the crate too

It was another piece of advice from my now ex-trainer.

Thought it was odd. Puppies especially need time to digest and stuff before bed.....Jin always produces one before bed

Loving that comment! I bet Jin would love to spend a night cuddled with the bf while I was penned away!

We were at the park once with a few of my doggie owners having a catch up and the dogs were all charging about and being general loons when this self prioclaime 'dog guru(!!)' came up to give her oppinion on our dogs/ what we have done wrong/ what underwear is best for dog walking and sprouted a load of that twoddle! Me and one of my labs mums are pretty quick witted and she said something along the lines of

' oh yes, once I fed her before we ate and he went for my throat, then stole my husband and locked me in the wardrobe!'

Almost wet myself laughing as she huffed off saying we would be sorry!! LOL

Load of crap, IMO.

Not in this house.

The dogs are seen to first, before us, as it should be and as I want it.

Going back to when I was working odd hours, my dogs would have starved if they had had to wait until I had eaten before they could have theirs. They didn't stage a takeover - perhaps I was lucky
