Good evening all.
Long, long day. Went for breakfast then took Gary for a hospital appointment then back to Skeg for a walk with Rosie, some Tesco shopping and McDs.
Beautiful day. Hardly a breath of wind, sunny, blue skies and blue sea today. Cold, but not as cold as it has been.
The appointment was for Rehab following the head injury 6 years ago. This appointment was supposed to be 12 months after the last one, but it's been 3 years. How's that for efficiency
. They are referring him to another sector that deals with communication to see what aids might be useful to him. Isn't it strange that he was born profoundly deaf and it's the first time it's been suggested? We do try to push for anything that may help, but when you don't know these things exist, it's just about impossible to do.
Aw, Lynn. Such a shame about the baby fish. Hopefully, the next lot will have a better chance
