Wedding Anniversary

My first wedding anniversary is fast approaching and I'm trying to think of something original to buy my husband as a gift but stuck for ideas. The traditional gift is paper according to the Internet which sounds like it should be easy but I'm finding it hard to think of something that makes paper more exciting!!

So far I've thought of tickets for a show or sports event or vouchers for the pro shop at the golf club he's a member at!

Anyone got any other suggestions!!

A book on a specific hobby?
Atlas
Wallpaper for the next decorating job
Paper maiche model of (insert relevent hobby)
Year subscription to a paper/magazine in relevant hobby

A mag subscription ?...

Ha ha think he'd divorce me if I bought him wallpaper!

Books might be worth looking into though and the subscription idea is good as he's going to be moving squadrons in November and will be away from home during the week so will give him something else to do.

How about buying him a plot of land in Glencoe?

My step mother bought my Dad a share in his favourite football club, the piece of paper is hanging proudly on the wall in his house!

A collage of pictures of your time together? That's kind of paper?

My husband threatened to just giftwrap a sheet of A4. The suggestion did not go down well.

I've decided to get him a wine voucher. He's really into red wine and more so in the winter so I've been to our local wine specialist and got a voucher so he can go in and try as many as likes then gets to choose 6 bottles to take away.
