Bella back at her beloved Salt Lake

At the moment due to the vast numbers of beautiful flamingos on the lake, it is entirely fringed with feathers!

I collected some really pretty black, pink and white ones today and have washed them and put them in a vase.

It was my previous dog's favourite walking place too.

I doubt Bella is missing the UK winter - I certainly am not!
(but then it seemed to start in July when I arrived!)

I would not be missing the UK weather either Pat

I remember my first time visiting Larnaka, we got of the plane at around 3 am and it was still lovely and warm! I thought to myself that I could quite easily live there!

Azz - I can well imagine that 3am arrival and finding it lovely and warm - the first time I came to Israel [14 April 1985] I arrived at 6am and was met by my daughter, and apart from my delight in seeing her for the first time since the previous August, all I noticed was the warmth and the palm trees and I said to her that the next time I arrived it would not just be for a four week holiday but would be permanently.

It was - I came back for good on 27 August that year!
