My mum used to eat lettuce sandwiches sprinkled with sugar. I remember Oxo sandwiches as a kid and my mate used to have the fat & jelly off a roast in her sandwiches. My sis & I went on a caravanning holiday with an aunt & we'd run out of milk for our rice crispies so my aunt put a dollop of peanut butter on top. It never caught on!

The milkman used to carry a bottled drink called Mikki which I liked and also milk which was in a long glass bottle which we called 'stir', I guess it was sterilised milk.

When yogurt first came out I remember putting sugar on it as it was too sour!
