Daily Chat Wednesday 16th September

Good morning everyone

Hope you are ok Moyra.

Overcast here at the moment but still very warm. Have to go and have flu jab at the chemist this morning ad then to B&Q for a few more bits to finish decorating son's house. Ben started his new job yesterday so we don't have to get up at silly o'clock now.

Hope all are well

Hve a god day and stay safe.

Morning Sue and all who follow.
Our weather is a bit overcast to after the sun showed itself earlier. I have a feeling it might rain in a while.

Hope Ben is enjoying his new job and I am sure you are enjoying the not so early starts.

Gorden teaching online today in the cabin. Me I am going to be tidying up and finding a good series on netflix or prime.

Hope everyone is well and all four legged friends to.

Morning sue and Lynn
I have to wait until October for my flu jab... apparently they do different ones depending on your age
Starting my prep today for my CT colonoscopy....I am going to find it hard as I don't like the protein listed.....I will be living on plain rice and toast until lunch lol

Good afternoon all.

Nice morning, but dull now.

We are the same, Kelly. Our flu jabs are on Saturday, but I can't book Gary in yet as 'they haven't got the jabs in for those under 65'. I don't know what the difference is, but I suppose there must be one.

Dave has his MRI at 6.15 pm this afternoon. He's more worried about having the MRI than why he's got to have it (anomalies on the earlier CT scan). I've told him the MRI is really nothing to worry about because all you have to do is lay still. Men are funny creatures.

Carpet fitter is coming late this afternoon to fit the bathroom carpet. Not looking forward to it. The man is a nervous giggler and has the type of giggle that grates on the nerves. Ah well, he shouldn't be here long

Whack your earphones in Chris.....save your nerves lol. Yeah.. I don't get the difference in flu jab but will wait my turn.
I always feel a right nob when I have an MRI as they put the headphones on you and talk to you and I have a flipping conversation but I don't think they can hear me

The fitter is here now. I'm sat in the living room with the door closed and the guy is in the bathroom by himself and hasn't stopped talking to himself yet. There's something seriously not right about this fella.

Hahaha, hope you don't end up under the carpet Chris!!! Maybe find another carpet fitter?? My mum's uncle was like that, kept chattering to himself all the time and then used to say "funny old game" didn't see him very much luckily

Sorry had to chuckle as I find myself chatting to me as I walk around up the park. Not having anyone to talk to during the day does that.bg!!

Thankfully he's gone now. Very disconcerting to hear a carpet fitter keep saying 'that was lucky', 'now you be good'. and all sorts of other stuff. Weird
