Explain the advantages of your breed to a prospective owner

Bullterrier, stubborn, obstinate, nosey, very powerful & should be leash trained if you wish to enjoy your walks together, selectively deaf, not for the person with no patience. Just when you believe you have the recall down to a tee they`ll bring you down to earth with a crash, grrrrr. Loving, caring, loyal, one of only 2 breeds reccomended by the k.c club to be good with children(other being the staff). Will take as much excercise as you are willing to give ( although not in sheepdog class for this)!
Comedians, usually at your expense.
Sweet natured, underpant sock thieves.

Japanese Spitz

Pros, gorgeous to look at, gentle temperaments, easy to feed none fussy (not even with my home cooking!) easy to keep clean, stay white by themselves, no pulling on leads, can take a lot or little amount of exercise, no known health problems, very very loving towards children and like to stick to owners sides (even in the loo)!!

Cons, not easy to find any, found them slower to toilet train, as the bull breeds, love socks and will steal any lying around the smellier the better, love to help with knitting so will take any left lying around, love childrens toys too so they may disappear under chairs and so on, Thomas the tank engine trains a speciality, otherwise little angels.

Japanese Shiba Inu
Pro's

Beautiful, very clever, clean dogs. Very loving but also Very independant . Non barkers only when they need to alert you. Can almost purr like a cat when happy (which is quite sweet).

Con's
Not good off lead, can be very weary of strangers and other dogs. Will escape from anywhere given the slightest chance. When unhappy will give out a "Shiba scream" which is pretty unique.

Newfoundland

Pro's

Large, beautiful, gentle dogs. Very loyal and loving. Excellent with children and other dogs. Loves to be fussed and stroked for hours and if you dare stop a large paw will knock you to remind you this 10 stone dog is still sat beside you. Gentle strolls on the lead. Not excessive barkers. They were made for water and love to be in it.

Cons
Drool, Drool and Drool also plenty of hair in the house. Loves water but that also includes daily knocking over water bowls and paddling in the pool they have created or sleeping with head and ears in the water bowl.. Always seems to be wet, as the last mouthful of water they don't drink they just seem to drop it all down there fronts. very messy dogs, loves to be dirty and muddy.

I have two Labs. Jake is 6 months and Charlie is 4 months. I think the biggest advantages is that they are fairly easy to train, always trying to please, and very adaptable. They enjoy a very active outdoor life, long walks etc yet will happily have a lazy day where neccissary too. They get on great with other people and dogs.

I know some people have trouble with Labs chewing stuff but I've been quite lucky as my two have been really good in that respect. They are both mud magnets though so if you don't like a wet mucky dog then best avoid Labs

Boxers

Highly energetic, but also terribly lazy when they feel like it
Bouncy and full of fun
Always hungry, but can also have sensitive tums
Loyal and loving - cuddling on the sofa is a favourite
Likes long walks, getting muddy, chasing birds, balls and plantpots
Like water to play in (beach, river etc) but don't like being washed
Beautiful face and wonderful expressions
Can be selectively deaf when it comes to recall/commands
Can be a puller on a lead without lots of training and revision
Eager to please, and hard to tire out
