Hi all,
Went back to the vet with heidi last night,
I was actually brave enough to go with her this time!
When we were sitting in the waiting room a couple of people came out in tears holding a little bundle wrapped up in a towel....not what i wanted to see at the moment
Anyway, he said her ulcer is healing well and has reduced in size, he has given us more tablets to control her hormones which would feed the tumours.
he said she could go on for any length of time yet and she looks well at the moment so i'm feeling a bit better about things and had a better nights sleep last night!
The drugs she is taking are also given to dogs with poor appetite so no wonder she is being a little piggy at the mo! The vet said " you are not giving in are you"? oops! better cut down on the treats or i will be told off!
Thanks for all the support i've had on here its really helped!
Kind Regards to all readers Kez.x

Hi Kez that sounds more hopeful , if it were me I would try to keep Heidi's weight right down, the production of fatty tissue could add to her problem.
