Im not alot of use on this one. I know my nextdoor neighbour had alot of problems with her jrt 'marking' when she got another dog. It was like he was trying to say everything in here is mine now get off
She had to go back to basics & if she caught him doing it, carry him outside & praise him if he did it outside...

I hope you find your solution soon hun x

Yes - I got this with Razzle but it`s stopped now.
Clean where they mark and prevent them doing it there again.
I clean with Jeyes (dilute) or Dettol to kill the scent on laminate. If it`s rugs they are washed.
Then I put something there - a chair or a water bowl, which stops it.
You might need to stop him going in certain areas that are hard to clean like bedrooms.

Thanks, the only area he does it is tiled floors...but thats the only area he is left undupervised...he cant be trusted in the lounge alone
I obviously clean the areas thoroughly...he seems to do it in a new place every time and im not so sure putting something there will help...he will just pee up it!

I would go back to basics with him if i caught him doing it, but im sure he waits for me to leave the room just so that he can pee!

Try the water bowl (or feeding bowl) trick. The theory is that dogs won`t dirty where they drink. It`s worked here.

A friend had a novel `cure`. I suppose you could try it.
She knelt down where the dog had marked and smacked the wall, shouting Norty Norty wall! (With the dog watching).
She swore this worked.

I will give the bowl a go, but he has been known to pee in his bowl after finishing his meal ...he is a strange one!

Lol, i may give the smacking the wall ago...cant do much harm but i shall wait until nobody else is at home!
