Poor baby, I hope she recovers well

Can you take pictures and get the vet to give you the pellet to go to the police with ?
The police don`t take this sort of sicko abuse seriously when its an animal but if you were to show pictures especially close-ups and tell them to imagine your littl`uns face as their baby sons or daughters face, they might actally pull their fingers out and do something. If nothing else they should do a door to door within the likely range of an air gun to ask people if they heard it so they can close in or put the frighteners on whoever did it - well, in a perfect world if the police actually gave a damn about someone running around with a weapon like that its what they should be doing

There have been more than enough cases of pets, [ and kids ], being maimed or killed with those things, its about time air guns were included in gun law, they can kill or blind like any other gun. So angry for you that someone out there has done this to hurt Doris and to put you through the worry and upset, the human race does my head in sometimes, it really does :smt021

Deep breath.....

Please give Doris some very gentle fuss from me when she gets home )))hugs(((

Yes Patch, the human race does my head in also & not just sometimes, with me it's nearly all the time

This is most likely kids trying to be macho, parents who couldn't care less, and like you say the Police etc. ineffective (For whatever reasons)

A while ago I mentioned in a thread that about 80% of all the people I had met face to face and had deealings with over some length of time were not to be trusted. Someone questioned my statistics but with incidents like this I feel justified in making that claim.
