Yes i was at bristol harbour festival last year with my jessie, we stand on the same side as the ss great britain but right down the other end (near industrial museum) there is some huge grey old cranes near us.

We all stand with our dogs ( about 15-20 newfs) which normally stops a crowd talking to people about the dogs and we sell raffle tickets all in aid of the wraxhall childrens hospice. If you go this year you will have to come and say hi.

We also do our display in the docks near to the spot where we stand about 2ish both days.

Ooh sorry, its just portishead - its a one off for charity. The dog owners normally are being rescued and we decided to do a one off in portishead, bristol to raise some extra money for the charity.

We've also done it for business people who book us and they have a go, but again its a special thing and money goes to charity.

Will let you know if we need any volunteers in the future.

Hi Melzy - did you know there is the Scottish Newfoundland club that train at Lochore meadows, Lochore every second sunday. I think perth is only about 20 miles away - i believe its on next sun (8th jun).

There is also k9eccosse who mainly train at Lochearnhead - both clubs are extremely friendly as are all the wet dogs, lol.

I take my leo there and they are very good with her.
