Newfoundland Water Rescue pics

The newfoundland water rescue group training has just started again, so we took our new girl today.

Didn't know how she would react as she has never been swimming and is 3 years old.

Anyway she was fantastic, took my camera and caught a few snaps of us training today.

First off - lets get her in the water and see if she can swim!!

Now lets see if she can do a hold and swim.
In time we will get her to pull a boat
But today was just a squeeky toy - she loved it!!

She passed with flying colours, so now to put her in a speed boat - see what she makes of it - and hope she doesn't freak right out!

Lots of slobbery kisses from my girl as we do a circle round the lake

She will train to jump from a moving speed boat to rescue the person in the water - but for my girl today it was a case of just letting her naturally jump from a boat.

Jess had a turn as well and this is them relaxing later.
