I'm thinking of going to Aviemore this year or is it January, I have been talking to a guy here who has 2 Huskies called Sabre and Dexter, dunno if you know him, Dave and Joanne, Joanne has had Huskies for years but is sadly in a wheel chair now and can't race any more, Daves husky that passed on is the oldest recorded husky died at 16 1/2 years.

Ahh well you couldn't have entered it in the competition then..

The sled dog event at Aviemore is in January.. but you will be very lucky to get somewhere to stay now as it will probably be fully booked:smt002

Even if I go up for the day weather permitting of course, we stay close enough to drive...Dave was telling me all about it and saying that a lot of different breeds of dogs are there just for the outing.

ive only been to one event so far (Dellamere :smt026 ) and although i really enjoyed it, it would have been nice to see where the dogs where starting from and the owners and all the behind the sceenes (kind of) stuff we followed the signs for spectators so's not to get in the way or anything and becauce we wernt sure if non-mushers such as ourselves were welcome near to the start!!

now i can ask you good people.....
1. are we allowed close by
2. can we ask you lots of questions and coo over your gorgeous dogs!!!!!!
