What do the training days consist of Nick? Do you need to have a certain level of obedience and/or agility already in place? Do you just turn up? How much does it cost?

Thanks.

The training is in all aspects of trials except tracking (although if you turn up early enough John normally does tracking in an adjacent field and always seems to be looking to help someone).

Jumps are too. Whatever you want help with, there is always someone there keen and willing to help. Some regular TDEx triallists regularly attend.

Good to have some basic obedience, but saying that if someone is keen enough they will be welcomed. All ability levels are welcome in any case.

OK to just turn up, but good to let soemone know first if you can. Cost last year was enough to cover share of rental of the field. John set it last year at £3, but I think he may just have broke even and no more at the end of the year. Not sure if its more this year, but if it is can't imagine it would be much.

Parking is £1, but Free if you arrive before 10am at the park. The days ran from 10am to about 2pm last year, so bring along a packed lunch. Vogrie does have toilet facilities.

Will be pleased to meet you if you can get along (and if I can too, haven't checked my own diary yet!)

I am interested in this, have to get a car first though!

Does it matter what breed of dog you bring?

No absolutely not. That's one of the great things about WT - all breeds (and x breeds), shapes and sizes can compete. (Small dogs get reduced size jumps in competition at CD and UD).
