This is great one decision. You buy treibball but i think you don't know how to use this. This is great one for dog'd fitness.

I am off to argos later to get a couple of cheap ones.

I have watched the videos and I think they might do OK.

I have the control and from what I gather you need a stand behind the ball then need a nose touch to push the ball forward towards you.

It'll make a change anyway. I am fed up of my latest routine and I am sure Etta must be as well, we need a break. Yesterday we did search squares to today we will push a ball!

ball herding! brilliant!

The pilates/gym balls should be just about right from what I can see. They are usually fairly thick rubber, designed to have a person sit on them so fairly strong too, but not too heavy for a dog to push

OK---went to argos and got two balls, one 55 and one 65 cm. Blew up the 55 one using the 65 pump----not the syringe they provided with it!

Have used it with lots of dogs, the collies seemed to get the idea quickly, (except Celt but I expected that). I put food under it and clicked Etta for pushing it.

We started by teaching them to get behind the ball every time and stand and wait.

Working in the dark at the moment but it is the book of the month on the dog read yahoo list and there is a yahoo group to discuss it as well so hoping to learn a lot this month!
