'Baby' birds

I love this time of year with the fledglings - they seem to be driving Mij to distraction but they're good fun to photograph.

This little one was needing some encouragement but seemed more than happy just doing the 'Basil Fawlty' up and down the branch.

I've got two swallow nests in eyesight from my verandah - tucked away underneath overhangs of neighbouring verandahs.

Unbelievably some ex pat Brits are on the advice forums asking what can be done to get rid of the swallows 'because the noise is driving them insane'.

I absolutely LOVE watching them swooping and diving - especially when down at the pool. I can hear them but have never thought of it as an 'annoying' noise?

Cheers folks

I'm looking forward to the young Sparrows and Tits but the Starlings are very comical.

Swallows are great but far more challenging to photograph. I've got a few good pics but 9 out of 10 get deleted LOL
