Warren Hill (Sleepy Hollow) Storrington West Sussex

Georges Lane...
Some of you may already know this area, but just had to share it with you all

If you are fairly local and have not been - GO !! It is beautiful right now-blue bells and all the trees with the new foilage.

We took the boys today oh and I as it was warm and sunny, and this offers plenty of shade. Surprisingly very few people there. You can easily while away a few hours, take a picnic, a frisbee and your in heaven.

You drive down an uneven road so quite a way from all the traffic, park up and plenty of woodland to roam with your dogs. I haven't been able to take pics as camera still in for repair

I believe it is either owned or managed by the National Trust..

Oh that is a fab walk - do you know where the kennels are on the A283 - basically it is past them heading towards the main roundabout and on the left hand side - past the run down building? not sure what the building is but its all boarded up?

Does that help?

I think the building is a farm - situated right at the bottom of the lane - you will love it there - let us know if you find it

Thanks for that, think I know where you mean. I'm only in Midhurst, so not far, and like to go somewhere different. Will try to get there at weekend. Thanks again:smt002

Have a great time if you manage to go at the weekend, plus we could at some stage possibly arrange a meet up there as there are a few members close by ??????
