Chumley-rodent

This little guy is the lesser known member of my family. He's about 18 months old and was yet another rescue. He's very sweet although he's been handled less just lately because he has been sleeping in.

Anyway I gave him a clean out today so thought I'd nab a few photo's to share of him.

Thank you for looking.

Ahh how sweet - a little bug eyed rodent? Forgive my ignorance but what exactly is this little fellow? And how big is he (nothing to gauge it by in the pics)

He's a Chinese hamster and about 9cm long. He's very sweet although I've only kept Russian dwarves and Syrians before so his testicles took me by surprise

My friend always kept gerbils but was never any good at taming them and they kept escaping. It's always put me off them. We did have three (kept as pets)in one of the science labs at school which just happened to be my tutor room in 6th form they were really friendly. We also had two geckos and four rats. One of the teachers used to walk around with her classroom rats on her shoulder

Awww cute! I'm not a massive fan of hamsters, I've always found them non-interactive so when it comes to rodents I prefer rats, but he's well cute
