For those of you interested....Gary myself and FS went to Birmingham Dogs Home and WOW we have seen a Border Collie Male.He is absolutly beautiful. He's around 2 years old, a little skinny, blk and wht, but he 'sits' gives a paw and lies down, he's been assessed he can be felt all over, doesn't snatch food, loves playing ball and fetches it back, you can take things off him and he loves and adores kids (nearly drowned my FS with kisses) they have had him almost 2 weeks no-one claimed him. He is a listener and puts his head on one side when you speak. His coat is in very bad condition and Bless he has a little 'kennel cough'. Gary is taking Pappi back to meet him, then if all goes well a home check............I hope with all my heart this one goes well. He certainly needs a good home. Quite too he's quite calm

So do I, Pappi isn't aggressive but she's nervous God knows why.....and when other dogs approach she barks agressively and hops backwards, we have explained this and they have said that's ok, we can have as much time with the two together as we want. but once she feels safe she settles down.
