Camping at shows

I will starting my second year of competitions this year with my dog and will be camping at some of the shows. I was woundering if you are allowed to use a tent as I don't have a caravan and have only just passed my driving test.
I was also woundering do the shows provide the fencing to put around the car/tent/caravan or do you have to take your own with you?

Loads of folk camp at shows but you need to get yourself some fencing and metal poles to make yourself a "garden" bought ours from e-bay.
We used to live quite close to you.......Letchworth

You can use a tent but I would advise camping as near to a loo as possible! You don't have to use metal poles (they are extremely heavy) but can use electric fence poles with your plastic fencing if you wish. In fact, you don't have to have fencing at all as long as your dog is under control and not wandering around bothering other dogs or pooing around other 'gardens'.

I started with a tent the 1st year I camped at agility shows, then I got my caravan, I may have to get my tent out again this year as my caravan is about to go to the big scrap yard in the sky!

You take your own fencing with you, I got my 1st lot from travis perkins, but got some more a couple of years ago from a local place that sells on line.

I will be investing in a tent and fencing then in the next few weeks then if I pass my driving test next week!
Anyone know where to get decent fencing and tents at a resonable price?

Second EBay for tents - another good place is Freecycle if you have a local group, a lot of people get rid of tents on there so may be worth posting a Wanted post for one.

I camp for flyball shows. I have a two man pop up tent which is ideal for the little one and me! We make a big 'garden' that all our dogs go in but we all take crates as well as we never leave the dogs alone loose (many know how to get out... either over or under!). Its amazing ^.^ Have fun!

Ps.... dont forget a towel for if it rains!

I used two puppy pens for a garden, they worked well, depends on the size of your car though!

I'll have a fiesta which is quite small and i'll have a 2/3 man tent and a chair so I only want a small 'garden' area. I don't think i'll have the problem of my jack russell getting out as he can be a bit slow on that sort of thing (don't know how he is so good at agility sometimes). I'll have a look at freecycle to see if I can find anything.
