I have a different side to tell.

My bitch is very shy and quite nervous when she hasnt got the back up from the 2 boys or she's in unfamiliar surroundings.

I gave agility a try with her only a few months after i'd had her. She didnt cope well and it was obvious she didnt like it. I gave it up because I thought she needed to feel more comfortable with me, learn to trust me more before I started putting any pressure on her.

I tried again with her last year, 2 years after giving her a home and she was the same. She wouldnt co-operate, wouldnt do anything willingly, would just run back towards the exit, even though I made sure she got lots of toy and food rewards. Throw her toys and she'd immediately be fine and perk up but as soon as it was our turn she'd just pin herself to the floor and refuse to move.

Maybe she was manipulating me in her clever collie way but I called it quits in the end.
