Meet Pauline - new LoGRat (hairless rat)

Most of you knwo about Pauline, and how we've been waiting for her for months! I never thought I'd own another double rex after I lost Chloe and Ratclyffe - they broke my heart... but when little Pauline here needed a home, with someone who would love her for who she is not what she is, then I knew Chloe was telling me something from wherever she is now at the bridge :*)

Pauline looks so like chloe! less hair, and a dumbo not a top ear like my special girl was () however there's more than a passing resemblance still.

Anyway - enough of my waffling! meet Pauline Campbell Jones - the latest LoGRat - and a very special little lass indeed!

I'm in love with her!: D

xx

they are pretty rare in this country as they are banned by most rat clubs. They have all sorts of associated health problems sadly, so no-one responsible breeds them This little girl was a rescue - there were loads of pregnant baby does, including Pauline's mum - they were being bred for petshops and snake food.

so they are like throw backs and only good for food in some ppls eyes because of the genes?
they are still rats and if you like rats what difference does it make?

She's lovely
I have guinea pigs myself and have always wanted a Baldwin but you don't really get them here..... or a Skinny.

And for those who don't know what they are click here..

I think they look like Clangers

Btw do you think a hairless rat would be good for people who normally have allergies?
