Disney, Staffie, DOB 06-07



His Story: Disney was found stray and unclaimed in South London, but in good condition.

Homing Requirements: Disney is friendly with people and dogs. Walks well on a lead and mixes with strangers very well. Needs a family who are aware of Staffies unjustified bad press and together with Disney are prepared for 'water off a ducks back' comments from family etc. On meeting he is friends for life. He can jump and say hello and he often has an open mouth, but no malice in this dog AT ALL. May develop into an off lead dog. Signs are he can be left, not destructive. Happy to travel in a car.

Advert: He's Disney we're Dizzy ... with love. Oh what a handsome dog ... stunning in his black suit with white shirt and tail and paw tips! He has the softest huge head that demands his forehead to be kissed. He has charm with it and yes he would blend very well at a formal dinner party, but might end up on the hostess's lap kissing her cheeks, oops! He has met cats and was interested, but came away so could possibly be homed with a dog friendly cat.

Disney isn't so much cartoon, but more film star! He is so well received with people and his eyes shine; his smile is broad and he has a slight swagger as the Staffies do. A lovely age where he has that settled feel; comfortable in his own skin and able to relax down easily and fall into Staffie snores zzzzzzzzzzz. Can't believe someone isn't crying their heart out over this chap. Their loss, our pleasure ... your gain!

"Please note Disney is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".

An update by one of our volunteer kennel walkers:

"Took Disney out for the first time today and found out what a fun dog he is. Thought the harness was a tug toy to start and when we resolved that he walked nicely. At the pub for a coffee he was such fun - a little clown.



I tried to take some photos, but he took that as a cue to say hello!



Here he is paying rapt attention to Kim. He so likes to connect. Loves tummy rubs and lots of fuss"!

Disney came out of his kennel Dissy as usual but settled in his excitement on a walk with Natasha, Paul and the Lovely Lola. Oh how lovely was Lola Disney?... lots of lip kisses were exchanged!
