Rosie is collie/whippet cross but some of this reminded me of her

BTW Mandy Rosie is a Lurcher.
A Lurcher is a Sighthound ( ie a Whippet) x Working dog (ie a Collie)
A Longdog is cross of 2 Sighthounds.

any dog bred with greyhound or whippet is classed as a lurcher.Lurchers are one of the best breeds any family could own.Had them myself in the past. English bull terrier cross whippet,Doberman cross greyhound.And of course Scottish deerhound cross greyhound.Stuborn dogs but had many a good time.
