Stuffed peppers

would you serve stuffed peppers as a starter? like one pepper each?

also what fillings do you use for stuffed peppers?

I love green peppers stuffed with chilli and rice or red stuffed with tuna onions peppers mushroom and rice

im attempting a 3 course meal for the OH at some point...

was thinking of stuffing it with mince in a spicy tomato sauce....

but then wouldnt know what to follow on with for a main, as i was going to do moussaka, but dont want a starter with mince then a main with mince too...

I do them as a main, but I do 2 each, and serve with rice!
I do peppers stuffed with lamb mince, onions and feta cheese!

Nice as a starter, I do mine stuffed with rice, onions, pepperoni or chorrizzo,(can't spell it) mushrooms & sweetcorn........... or whatever I can find!
and melted mozzerella on the top.
or swap the rice for cous cous

I'm not a big fan of peppers but i'd consider stuffing them with mixed veggie cous cous!

If stuffing with cous cous i'd probably just serve half a pepper as a starter as it can be quite filling.

reading all these replies is making me hungry!!!

think i will just do us half a pepper each with it being a starter, that way we dont get too full... what would you reccomend as a main then?
