Oh I do love good news like this.

I will be thinking of you and Roxy on Tuesday, and hope for a lovely happy outcome.

So pleased to hear your good news. Berkeley is also a cancer patient at the Glasgow Vet School. We don't know what's wrong with him (it's not hemangiosarcoma, it's not chemodectoma, but it's something, though it doesn't seem to be getting worse... mysteeeerious) and they take such good care of their patients there. We're all in good hands.

Roxy was kept in yesterday for surgery first thing today

They agree that the swelling surounding the tumour has shrunk which should give them safer margins but warned us that may not get it all out due to the location but would do their best. Pathology results will determine whether it's radiotherapy, chemo or both.

My nerves are shattered!

I'm missing her a lot, she loves attention and fuss so I hope she's getting plenty.

Roxy is ok, she took a while to come round from the anaesthetic though. They couldn't get brilliant margins and have done a flap, along with a skin graft from her shoulder. Pathology results re. the grading tomorrow. The tumour was bigger than the last one.

It makes me feel sick that I've put her through this, I've no idea if I've even done the right thing. Got home from work at 8.30 after having mostly put a brace face on and am now sitting here in tears struggling to type this.

One thing I do know that if it comes back on another difficult area requiring so much surgery, I don't think I'll put her through it again given her age. I feel so guilty right now it's terrible. My poor baby.
