Starting To Get Excited For Crufts!!!

Sad I know, but I'll be dogless and free for a change!

I'm looking forward to not driving for a change and getting squished by some Anatolians.

Anyone else going?

Yep I will be there Friday, manning a breed stand, shopping, having a KCAI mentoring session, shopping, seeing friends, shopping.

Only shopping thrice, wow that's quite restrained!

It must be so much easier with little dogs though? I know it's flippin' hard work with two great big lumps of canine and all their bumph!

It sure is easier I would imagine its a nightmare with larger breeds especially trying to manouvre through the public

Tbh it's all the crap that comes with the dogs that I struggle with, but owning long coated breeds isn't fun when it's wet/muddy and you have to walk them into the venue!

the thought of shopping makes me want to kill myself, so the massive shopping complex i had to endure the one time i went to crufts put me off the event for life!

it was the fact that the stalls were arranged in these narrow thoroughfares whereby you were literally crammed and stuck behind hundreds of people meaning took ages to get anywhere.
complete hell for me, at least in a mall you have multiple exits leading outdoors

I will be there with one dog this year, I will only be buying essentials, worming tablets etc, well that's the plan.

We will be in hall 5, judging at 10am. It's usually quite a quiet hall and don't tend to venture much further!

Will be very interested to see our judging, she wont be doing any favours!
