Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Pleased Dillon was a lot better yesterday and hope the same continues from now on.

Lovely day here. Teazle walked, bread pudding made and now in oven and also making Cornish Fairings at the request of Ben

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning Moyra, Sue and all to follow.
Sunny warmer day here today. Need a new strip light for the fish tank so we will take Dillon for a ride.
Had a walk again today bit further than yesterday very slow though but he seemed to enjoy it, he also had a roll on the wet grass.
I noticed a lump where he has been shaved didn't notice it yesterday seems very squidgy and about the size of a 50 pence piece.
Rang the vet to see if it needed looking at but they have said if it isn't affecting him leave it till he see's his vet tomorrow unless of course it gets a lot bigger or starts to bother him.
I do not know which side his stomach was tacked so maybe it's a bit of fluid build up or just a lump he has acquired. As long as it isn't a worrying lump.

Sue hope everyone enjoys the biscuits and bread pudding. Sure they will.
Moyra are you feeling better ?
brenda sorry the flat wasn't the right one. Need to get it right though.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

Lynn, deags had something similar after her bowel surgery and it was fluid between two layers....hope that's the case with Dillon.
Walked the dogs but I am very very tired, my dad was surprised I was going out tonight...he said I look ill lol, I said duh, I am ill, he said I looked worse than usual! Life is too short not to go and see my friends and I have been stuck in all week and I have also broken my lockdown habit of using beer to keep me sane lol

Good afternoon all.

Not too bad this morning. Cold and only a little bit of drizzle now and then. Now it's 'proper' raining.

I hope the squidgy lump that Dillon has is no more than the expected fluid lump after an op. Everything crossed. x

Kelly, take care of yourself and don't over do it. Hopefully, meeting up with your friends will have a good effect x

Nowt much on now except reading my book - a new one that I'm struggling a bit with but the history around coal mining in Wales during the time is interesting. Not far enough into it yet to determine whether that is all that's interesting in the story, but time will tell

Maybe a slow burner Chris?? I gate it when I read the back of the book and it's great, buy the book and then actually the only good bit is the back!
If seeing my friends doesn't help, the beer will lol. Want to see everyone in case we get out into local lockdown.... don't think Rob will be in but hopefully others will be

You sound like me Chris. I have a new book called Agnes Grey but not sure.
Kelly please take it easy.
Lynn hope Dillon will be ok.
Sue you always seem to be baking.
Got chilly here now so must switch heating on.
Have a good evening.

Afternoon everyone, griff enjoy your evening out.
Chris hope the book livens up.

We needed some some bulbs for the kitchen lights and the fish tank so decided to pop Dillon in the car and take him for a ride I stayed in the car with him while Gorden popped into the shops. He got the bulbs but couldn't get the fish tank light so we popped over to Peterborough to a shop there and we decided to give Dillon a stretch of the legs. We waited outside while Gorden went in. He came out, still no luck ended up ordering off the internet. Dillon knows the petshop well next door and wouldn't let us walk past without going in. I picked him some biscuits up and while doing that he stole a pigs ear. We wrestled it off him as I am watching closely what he is eating at the moment, we paid for it then put it on the bin as he was refusing all the biscuits we bought as he knew Gorden was holding that pigs ear.
Safe to say he is back to normal I think.
I think the lump is fluid or a fatty lump. At his age we are not prepared to have him pulled about unnecessarily especially after what he has been through.
We had hoped we might see the bearded vulture that has been blown off course and ended up around Eye. We didn't and have since read it is now over Sawtry and possibly heading towards Mark and Lauren at Brampton.
