My mum always said she used to watch it, I grew up in Germany so I didn't watch it, but when I had Lauryn it had a bit of revival so she used to watch it on Nick jr or cebeebies

We did not have a television then, but did you know that Andy Pandy first started a year earlier than Bill and Ben?

However a neighbour did have a set - remember this?

But we did have "Listen with Mother" on the radio.

"Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin."

My all time favourite was The Woodentops, because I was called Jenny and I loved "the biggest spotty dog you ever did see"!!!

I was born in 1953 but it was a long time before that first TV. Bill and Ben were a favourite and who could not be enamoured by the charms of Little Weed?

I had a Muffin puppet too I guess it would be worth a lot if I still had it.

By the time Bill and Ben appeared and I got the opportunity to watch them I was very much into reading books. I was not a fan of Bill and Ben and found them 'a bit silly'

I just loved them, I adored Spotty Dog, lol at you Meg, found them a bit silly.... I wasn't much into Andy Pandy though.

There we all go....giving our ages away... They seemed so much better than what seems to be on for children now, so much more innocent......
