Yeah but if they combine the two then that is a recipe for violence and i speak as someone who's been on the receiving end of it

Sorry to hear that Candie

JMHO, but I don't think smoking dope will help, the 'Dopes' who have gone to Portugal just to cause trouble will anyway. The genuine football fans will then get caught up in it

They don't need drugs nor alcohol to be violent. If they want to cause trouble they will regardless. Its not like smoking dope is a new thing for them anyway!

Do you call pot dope in England? We call heroin dope, but my grandparent's always called marijuana dope. My grandfather even called my nail polish remover dope when he smelled it, lol

I don't know if it's a good idea to announce this. It may turn into a huge pot smoking fest. If people smoke pot, they are going to smoke anyway regardless if it's allowed or not, they'll get high before or sneak off during... This sounds like a recipe for disaster because it may draw out the wild ones who are coming just to smoke in public. JMHO

I see all these leniance's as just another step to the slippery slope.

Burglary which used to lead to a spell in jail is just another telling off offence now, unless the poor burgler gets a smack, then the house holder goes to nick.

Get your car broken in to and you get a crime number instead of a visit from Mr Plod.

Get caught with drugs below a certain amount and its condsidered for personal use, so warrents a telling off and confiscation.

How long before murder is de-criminalised because to take some one to court wastes so much paper and the forests are rapidly disappearing.

I think laws are not made to be broken, and if it means building more prisons, then at least the builders will be in work.
