Testicles not dropping

Have a Pyrenean mountain dog he is 5months old he has one large testicle that has dropped he has the other one but is only small and in his groin area so is out of the area of needing an op . When stood I can only feel the one when he's laid down I can find it , can anyone give me their opinion of what might be going on ? Thanks Pete

At 5 months he is just a baby, he is far too young to do anything about. If you can feel the other one when he is lying down, gently massage it downwards into place, this sometimes helps. I wouldnt worry at all yet, not at least til he is 16mths old, especially with a slow maturing breed.

My W Cocker had a testicle which did not drop.
Had op at 16 month and it was found much higher up in the body.
Plenty time.
Meanwhile you can tell everyone your dog gets its balls massaged every day.
Not many people can say that
