Three five-week-old Labrador puppies found dead and six more stolen
Three other pups were found dead when the owner discovered the dogs were gone from the property in Killiecrankie on Friday.
The dogs, which are understood to be too young to be away from their mother, were stolen sometime between Thursday at midday and 8am on Friday.
Appeals for the pups have been shared on social media with people being urged to report anyone selling puppies without the correct documentation.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "The incident happened sometime between midday on Thursday and 8am on Friday.
"Six five-week old Labrador pups were stolen and three others were reportedly found dead at an address in Killiecrankie, Pitlochry, Perthshire.

Poor puppies.
I do hope the missing ones are found safe and well - but cannot help wonder why they were not in a secure place so could not have been stolen in the first place.
