Hello,

I am going to be puppysitting a gorge little black lab, he just had his jab and due his second on the 1st November but the problem I have is that he is already 12 weeks old (he was an unwanted puppy on gumtree that never been vac'ed)

I know it is very important for a puppy to get out and about at this age so I was wondering what could I do to help him socialize especially as he is going to be a pub dog.

I do have five dogs, cats etc so that is okay.

Any tips?

Carry him about or put him in a pushchair.

Remember you still don't want him to have direct contact with unvaccinated dogs, e.g mutual nose sniffing, until he is fully vaccinated so one with a plastic rainproof front cover would be best, and may help keep him contained in the pushchair.



Carrying is good, mixing with your vaccinated dogs is good, and taking him round in a car where he can look out to get used to sights and sounds of everyday life is also good, and can help prevent car sickness
