Amy is now 5 months (yesterday) so I thought it was time for some updated pictures.

These were taken today while I tortured her (aka "bath and blow dry"), she hates me!

She is beautiful - have to say not seen an afghan for a while my old boss used to have them back in the early 80's lovely dogs bit independent I think from memory but they are hounds are they not.

Stunning, just stunning! I too was thinking 'haven't seen an Afghan Hound for years'. I remember when they were very popular and trendy dogs to own (probably around 60s/70s) in and around London and you'd see them in fashion mags with models too. Obviously require a lot of grooming but worth it. Love the triangular markings round the eyes.

I'm off now to have a little look at why you don't see them so much these days!
