Rumour has it that someone went over the handlebars of his rig and landed head first in the deepest puddle on Sunday. No-one has owned up to it yet and Sam didn't get a picture.

It was really hard work in the thick mud (the dogs were OK but I was completely knackered afterwards). I don't know whether it was deliberate or not, but I thought it was quite funny that my bib number was the same as my age (60).

Our boy Gus also got a run out with our friend Ronny's Mal Maya:

Great day out though!

Great shots, I really wanted a Greenland or Canadian Eskimo dog (I appreciate they are not seperate breeds on the continent) next but Vikki put her foot down, maybe when we have a bit more time, I have always fancied taking a winter off and running the dogs properly somewhere cold. Bet you can't wait for the snow to come.

So true - winter and sow can't come soon enough for me:=)! And just now I can see light snow faling outside:=))! Not much, so I dont think it will stay, but like the developement so far ;=)

Here is a video clip I edited from yesterdays training

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xWYgsthVWQ

As I said earlier, it was 17 km. But really tough hard trainingroad. Very very much hills - loooong hills, and decided not to help them.
so we trained much motivation and so on.
it was fun to experience - yet again - that speed and eagerness was at its best at the end of the trip! Unfortunately the language in the clip is in Norwegian and northern dialect, so its hard to understand;=)

Great footage, I bet they will really start to come on when the temperature drops fully.

We did a few days with Sibes in Kiruna in January, basically sledding then staying in a hut before moving on it was a great experience, I really didn't want to come back.

Heres some of my footage from there
